Most relevant solution for these error is about your HOST file. Go to gs.apple.com and see what your browser shows. If it shows, TSS or Cydia then you need to update HOST file, because it should show Apple Server Configuration page.How to edit HOST file
- First close the iTunes.
- In Windows see the host file located at: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
- For Mac users goto: /etc/hosts
- After that open the hosts file with Administrator Privileges with notepad.
- If not, add the following lines at the bottom of the notepad : 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
- Save.
Fixing iTunes Errors for a Jailbroken iPhone
If your iDevice is jailbroken or its software is expired then you need to use following tools to update / restore your device.Basic required tools:

These errors are occurred for jailbroken devices particularly when signature checks are get blocked or ApTickets, or GetDeviceID get failed to iBoot.

These errors are occurred because of not compatible library files.- You must have iTunes ver 11.1 or above. Here you need to restore working library files [download].
- Close iTunes, TinyUmbrella, iREB or any tool if its active.
- Open that downloaded file with Administrator Privileges >> follow on screen instruction without hesitation.

- Connect your device. Open iFaith with Administrator Privileges >> click on Show Available SHSH caches on Server >> you need to download last working iOS SHSH blobs and note down its compatible iOS version.
- Now you need to particularly download that noted iOS compatible for you device.
- Once download finished, open Rednow with Administrator Privileges.
- Redsnow >> Extra >> Even More >> Restore >> IPSW - select the ipsw file which you downloaded in step 2 >> then click on local - select the SHSH blobs which you downloaded in step 1.
- Let the Redsnow perform its operation.
- You will see your device is getting restored in few minutes.
- Once restored, connect your device to iTunes, your software get alive again.
How to Put iPhone into DFU Mode
- Switch off by slide to power off
- Now once it got OFF. Hold the power button for 3 seconds
- Press and hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds
- After this, release the Power button but keep the Home button pressed for 15 seconds
- This puts the iPhone in DFU mode. The screen remains black.
- When you connect your iPhone to iTunes, a popup tells you that iTunes has detected an iPhone in DFU mode and its required drivers are get installed into you system.
How to Get iPhone Out of DFU Mode
- Press and hold Home and Power buttons for about 10-12 seconds
- Now, release the Home button but keep pressing the Power button till Apple logo comes up on the screen. Your iPhone is out of DFU mode.
