What is Pinterest:
Pinterest is a social network where users can upload, save, sort and share images(called pins) and other content like videos (similar to Facebook). Pinterest is a platform which lets users to browse images and videos of others on the main page. In pinterest everyone has his own pinboard where he/she can upload and share images users can also share images of others on their pinboard by pin it button.
Pinterest as a source of traffic:
Pinterest is a good place to get traffic, when someone share your blog images on their pin terest board users can reach you blog though it. But unfortunately websites and blogs haven't added images pin it feature yet so that users can share them by just hovering images.
How does it work:
It works in a very simple way, you just need to add a script to your blog which will show a pin it button when an image is hovered.
How to add pin it button to your blogger images:
To add pinterest "pin it" button to your blog images follow below steps:
- Go to Blogger Dashboard.
- Select Layout and click on add a gadget.
- When you click on add a gadget a pop-up window will open scroll it down and select Html/Javascript.
- Copy below code and paste it in Html/Javascript window.

- Click save and you are done!
Final words:
You can see a small pin it button in corner of every image when you hover it in my blog. Some other blogs are also sharing this post but don't use them some of them slows down your blog and some of them have a bigger button and it appears in the center of image because of which images don't show clearly.
