Google Page Rank is a prestigious thing for a site and this is most awaited matter for webmaster. As per schedule Google update Page Rank 4 times in a year but this year 4thFebruary 2013 we have got only one update but still Google remain silent about Page Rank update. Many blogger was optimistic that Google will update their page rank in October 2013 but Google is not updating this year. Many blogger also predicted the Page Rank update and published post but all goes wrong.
There are many comments dropping about next PageRank update in Google website for the last 2 months but they did no comment.
Google�s Matt Cutts: No More PageRank Updates This Year. He just state about Page Rank in his twitter profile "I'd be surprised if it happens".
Google is now totally busy to isolate quality site. For this reason Google busy with various algorithm update such as Panda, Penguin, EMD (Exact Match Domain) and Hummingbird.
Matt Cutts also describe what the page rank means to Google. He just simply said Page Rank is totally based on Number of backlinks of a site nothing else. And not only backlinks he focused on quality backlinks and can build higher page rank. And those who write post that quality content and standard writing affect page rank score then they are in wrong concept. Because those are for Panda and Hummingbird algorithm updates.
Google Toolbar PageRank update dead or alive?
I think Google Toolbar PageRank has already dead. Because Google is not offering a Google Toolbar for Chrome or any add-on to show PageRank values. And Google dropped its Toolbar for Firefox in June 2011. But surprisingly Internet Explorer is the last browser that still displaying PageRank serving by Google but according to Matt Cutts statement those PageRank data isn't updating for over six months. The probably a reason is Internet Explorer 10 doesn't allow any add-on, that means if Internet Explorer 10 become popular by add-on free experience then nobody can use Google toolbar on it. So Matt Cutts said that Google is going to develop something new for that. So this think beacon that still have hope about Google toolbar PageRank update in 2014.
In conclusion we can summarize that no more PageRank update in 2013 but we can hope about it in 2014.
